Creation of the Sound for The Blacksmith

The goal for this project was to create the sounds required to make the player feel like they were immersed in the game. Starting with the cinematic reel, I blended and manipulated various recorded sounds to achieve the natural indoor/outdoor ambience and the various foley movements of the character, then added in the sound effects for the floating, burning metal.  For the gameplay, I developed the foley footstep sounds, the pickup sounds, the ambience, and recorded the ADR. After all of this was created, I achieved a balanced mix for the entire reel and implemented my sounds into The Blacksmith Gameplay utilizing the Wwise Game Engine.

Creation of the Sound for Smugglers Dilemma

The goal for this project was to create the sounds required to make the player feel like they were immersed in the game, and fighting for control of the ship.  As this is a space related game, I created the sounds of the ship first, by blending various recorded synthesized sounds and natural environmental sounds to achieve the indoor ambience. All of the foley movements of the character: footstep sounds, the pickup sounds, interactive sounds, door movements, and ADR were created and recorded then implemented and mixed using FMOD and Unity.
